The year 2024 began on a grand note for MMF STUDIO AFRICA with our founder Monicah Mugo scooping an award for best sound editor in the recently concluded Mombasa International Film Festival.

The film Mzuka directed Ian Nyakundi Isaboke a Kenyan filmmaker born and raised in Kibera Nairobi tells a story of a struggling rapper facing self-doubt and financial constraints sets out to beat those odds in a dramatic rollercoaster of events and setbacks.
